The Shanti Residence is a 4500m2, 5 suite 5 bathroom residence with its own private master chef, spa, gym, commercial kitchen, in-house Teppanyaki grill, state of art electronics and audio room, main swimming pool and private plunge pool, gazebos and expansive lush gardens. The impressive fully air-conditioned five-suite sprawling Residence has dual purpose fold back design features with floor to ceiling glass doors and panels that allow the property to be completely opened to allow for cool ocean breezes and an alfresco atmosphere, or which can be fully enclosed to enjoy complete air-conditioned comfort.
The five-bedroom property encompasses an 84m2 Master Suite (Ambhara) that opens onto a private deck, plunge pool and gazebo. It features a romantic canopied king size bed, a vast indoor and outdoor bathroom and a study cum lounge which looks out to the shimmering Indian Ocean.The Residences two-storey Ocean Suites (Akansha & Ananta) and Garden Suite (Abian) at 395m2 is located in a separate quarter and features a private gym and resident spa, walk in robes, hall, spacious bathrooms and balconies that command Indian Ocean and tropical landscaped garden views.
In an adjacent quarter sits the Junior Suite (Aastha) at 83m2 which leads to a private gazebo and features an additional lounge room to relax or work from.
All rooms feature romantic canopied beds with luxury cotton linens, soft duvets, and down pillows and all suites lead out to meet expansive gardens where an impressive raised 106m2 infinity edged plunge pool and deck lay.
The spectacular bathrooms feature jet baths for two and adjacent gardens where stone steps lead to an outdoor shower. An adjoining dressing gallery, ‘his and her’ wash basins, separate shower with rain showerheads, walk in robes and signature bathroom amenities make for an indulgent bathing experience.
The main living areas comprise a designer appointed lounge and living room, separate dining room and a state of the art audio room which doubles as a conference room if required, and which offers cinematic movie projector, stereo system and surround sound.
The architectural and design principal behind THE SHANTI RESIDENCE is attributed to leading Balinese Architect Popo Danes whose idea to integrate progressive designs, facilities and services with traditional Balinese architectural elements ensures a timeless appeal.
“I give space to play,” states Popo. “Simplicity is my signature. I believe that architecture comes together with landscape and the interiors as a whole. It’s really looking at one big picture. I don’t like to dominate, but to complement what is around me” he says.
“The most luxurious thing about this property is its’ space. You may have a two-million dollar city apartment but you also may have no space in which to enjoy it” he adds.

The Shanti Residence offers 24hr personal Butler service to attend to guests, draw a bath, pack or unpack clothes, make dinner reservations, set up laptop, or even offer a massage at any time during the day.
The Shanti Residence is able to accommodate up to 300 guests for special occasions such as weddings, executive meetings, incentive groups, private parties and cocktail functions and can sleep up to 15 guests.
The Shanti Residence is poised on the cliffs of Nusa Dua looking out to the Indian Ocean on Bali’s south coast, 25 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport.
